Active open pit mines and areas
The Mineral Resource estimates discussed herein are informed from core drilling information stored in a secured central database and were evaluated using a geostatistical approach. Tirka and Pishtazan copper resources are estimated to be tens of millions of tonnes with an average grade of 0.76 % CU. In four other mines, prospecting and exploration is under way. So far several promising reserve zones were detected for further research. The mining sector in Torud region is a booming sector with outstanding and exceptional potential and the sector is growing rapidly. The region hosts hundreds of copper mines and industrial mineral mines at the moment.
